He was an outdoorsy boy from Wisconsin, and she was an artsy girl from Minnesota. After Lindsey's family moved, they were in the same graduating class at the same high school in Wisconsin. Despite similar friends and even similar employers, they never talked to one another. They then both lived in Minneapolis for several years and, ironically, finally got to know each other a few weeks before Ryan moved to New York City and Lindsey moved to Philly. About a year later, Ryan ran the Philly marathon, they had lunch, and the sparks flew! Both have an equal love of spending time in the city, eating great food and going to museums and live music and spending time outdoors skiing, gardening, fishing and running. After a year of funding New Jersey Transit, they very happily moved to Brooklyn together.
